Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
What does your next step sound like?
About us
Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Joe & the Juice, Toni & Guy and TAG Heuer. On the inside, we're a bunch of talented, motivated and humble designers, engineers and music experts. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
We're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infra team at Soundtrack. The Infra team is at the heart of our platform and is responsible for scaling, modernising and maintaining the infrastructure that powers Soundtrack’s global music service.
Right now, the team consists of three senior members, with deep infrastructure backgrounds. To ensure we can keep scaling with our growing customer base, we’re strengthening the team with an additional team member who brings solid infrastructure knowledge and developer/automation skills.
You’ll be working closely with the Reliability team to improve monitoring and stability, and with our product development teams to ensure they can build on a robust, modern platform. Day to day, you’ll work with tools like Google Cloud, Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, Helm and the Grafana stack to build, automate and evolve our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Soundtrack’s infrastructure in Google Cloud and Kubernetes (GKE)
- Improve and manage automation and infrastructure to ensure scalability, cost-efficiency and robustness
- Use Terraform to set up and manage projects and clusters
- Install and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters using Helm
- Operate and evolve the monitoring platform (Grafana stack: Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo)
- Partner with development teams to understand and meet their platform needs
- Contribute to long-term architectural improvements and infrastructure modernisation.
About You
You're driven and
independent, but you know how to be a team player too. Regardless of roles, we're always looking to work with people who can adapt to constant change, prioritise what's important, stay humble, open, curious and with a passion for details.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
- 5+ years of experience with Terraform.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud. AWS or Azure is also relevant, but you must be willing and able to quickly get up to speed with GCP.
- Ability to work independently in a small, senior team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
Beneficial Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud.
- Expert knowledge of Terraform.
- Experience with Helm and the Grafana stack (Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo).
- Programming experience in Go or Python (for internal tools and integrations).
- Previous experience working in a scale-up or tech company.
- Background in both infrastructure and development (hybrid skillset).
Employee Benefits
- We offer a flexible workplace with the possibility to work remotely
- Generous pension plan
- Yearly budget for health, wellness and personal development
- Laptop and mobile phone of your choice with included cellular subscription
- Regular social activities such as team events, meet ups, after works and off-sites
- Daily breakfast served at the office (if working from Stockholm)
