Sales Representative – Mid-Market
What does your next step sound like?
About us
Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Kiehl's, Spotify, Hard Rock Cafe & Four Seasons. On the inside, we're a team of talented, motivated, and humble individuals, including our dedicated Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams, alongside our expert Designers, Engineers, and Music specialists. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
We’re looking for a driven, strategic, and relationship-focused Sales Representative to join our US team.
You’ll build strong relationships with larger multi-location businesses (from 6 sites to hundreds), guiding them through consultative sales cycles and aligning key decision-makers. With a steady flow of inbound leads and a clear playbook, you’ll tailor solutions that create long-term value — often advising on audio setups — while keeping momentum toward closing high-impact partnerships. This is a remote role initially, where you’ll be working from home and receive a grant to buy office supplies. You’ll report directly to our VP Sales in Sweden.
Responsibilities
- Convert inbound leads from larger multi-location businesses (6+ sites) into long-term, high-value customers
- Engage with prospects via email and video calls, building trust through consultative conversations
- Navigate decision-making processes involving multiple stakeholders across different levels and departments
- Tailor pitches to complex use cases — from restaurant groups to retail chains and service providers
- Keep sales cycles efficient and momentum high while aligning all key decision-makers
- Track your pipeline, forecast monthly MRR, and report on key conversion metrics
- Collaborate with the Sales team to refine strategies for selling into larger organizations and share insights to improve our global approach
- Advise prospects on commercial audio setups and address technical questions, ensuring they understand how Soundtrack fits into their environment. Eventually hardware will be a bigger part of the offering.
- Work independently while staying aligned with our Swedish HQ across time zones
About You
You take ownership, think strategically, and thrive on building relationships that lead to long-term success. You’re comfortable managing the midmarket segment with some small and some big companies. Sales cycles here typically range from 1 week to several months, with an average of 4–6 weeks. You know how to qualify leads and prioritize your time, you have the ability to run a short sales cycle when appropriate but can also handle bigger deals.
You’re results-driven and persistent, but also empathetic and patient in your approach. You can adapt your pitch to fit complex organizational needs, ask the right questions, and guide prospects toward a clear decision.
Alongside your sales skills, you bring a solid understanding of commercial audio solutions — whether from working with Pro-AV integrators, audio hardware providers, or similar industries. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you know how to advise technical setups in a clear and customer-focused way.
You balance momentum with attention to detail, ensuring that every interaction moves the deal forward while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. Naturally curious, you look for smarter ways to work, embrace feedback, and enjoy shaping solutions that create real business impact.
And if you love music like we do, even better!
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a focus on consultative sales cycles and multi-location businesses
- Proven ability to navigate complex decision-making processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Solid experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and pipeline management
- Experience closing deals with an average deal size of $500–$5,000 MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue, in USD), ensuring familiarity with similar sales motions
- Based in New York, as we are planning to establish an office in Manhattan and to ensure smooth collaboration with Sweden’s time zone
- Working knowledge of Commercial Audio / Pro-AV solutions (e.g., loudspeaker systems, amplifiers, Audio over IP such as Dante), with the ability to discuss hardware setups in a clear and customer-focused way
- Native-level or near-native English fluency, including strong writing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working remotely and independently
- Background from Pro-AV integrators, audio manufacturers, or similar industries where you’ve supported customers with technical audio solutions
- Ability to bridge technical knowledge with consultative sales skills, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and colleagues
