Product Expert
If you’re energized by the idea of helping users discover the full value of our product and want to grow in a fast-moving, impact-driven team, we’d love to hear from you!
About us
Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Kiehl's, Spotify, Hard Rock Cafe & Four Seasons. On the inside, we're a team of talented, motivated, and humble individuals, including our dedicated Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams, alongside our expert Designers, Engineers, and Music specialists. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
We’re looking for a driven and tech-savvy Product Expert to join our US team in a fully remote role, with the willingness to participate once we launch our local NY-office in the future.
In this role, you’ll help small and medium-sized businesses get the most out of their free trial — solving setup issues, guiding them to the right subscription, and ensuring they quickly see value. The role blends inbound sales, product education, onboarding, and light technical support, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys combining customer engagement with sales impact. You’ll report directly to our VP Sales in Sweden.
You’ll focus on the US market and work closely with our Swedish HQ across time zones, so some flexibility in working hours is required.
Responsibilities
- Engage with trial users (cafés, restaurants, retailers, and more) to help them set up, understand our platform, and see value from day one
- Provide clear guidance across email, chat, and video to walk users through key features and product fit
- Troubleshoot common issues and remove obstacles in the buying journey
- Spot opportunities and demonstrate the benefits of upgrading to a paid subscription
- Contribute to refining and scaling our processes for onboarding and conversion
- Work independently while staying aligned with our Swedish HQ across time zones
About You
You take ownership, think proactively, and thrive on helping customers succeed. Comfortable blending product education with sales, you know how to build trust, guide prospects toward the right decision, and explain technical setups in a clear, empathetic way. You’re results-driven and persistent, yet patient and adaptable to customer needs — always keeping momentum high while ensuring a great experience. And if you love music like we do, even better!
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer support, or other customer-facing roles
- Experience working with small and medium-sized business customers
- Experience working towards conversion or sales targets
- Native-level or near-native English fluency, including strong writing and communication skills
- Based in New York (required), as we are planning to establish an office in Manhattan and to ensure smooth collaboration with Sweden’s time zone
Preferred qualifications
- Background in SaaS or tech companies.
- Familiarity with CRM, chat, and automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Intercom, Zapier,Notion AI, ChatGPT).
- Experience from hospitality or retail sectors.
- Background from Pro-AV integrators, audio manufacturers, or similar industries where you’ve supported customers with technical audio solutions
- Passion for music
