Product Designer - Growth
What does your next step sound like?
About us
Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Joe & the Juice, Four Seasons Hotels and TAG Heuer. On the inside, we're a bunch of talented, motivated and humble designers, engineers and music experts. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
Soundtrack is seeking an experienced, UI-focused Product Designer to join our Growth Team. The Growth Team is responsible for the critical first moments of the customer journey, owning the signup flow, onboarding experience and initial activation loops. In this role, you will shape how different businesses experience the value of our platform, crafting a delightful first impression that guides users through their signup and entire trial period.
As a Product Designer in the Growth team, you’ll work in a cross-functional team of other designers, product managers, frontend engineers and content creators.
Because design is a core part of problem-solving at Soundtrack, you’ll be involved across the entire development lifecycle. Your work will span from mapping user behaviors with our user research team, sketching concepts and testing prototypes, to building high-fidelity UI, and delivering production-ready designs alongside engineers. You’re comfortable sharing work in progress, inviting input, and shaping ideas together with others.
Responsibilities
Own and continuously refine the onboarding and activation flows, keeping cognitive friction low and conversion high.
Design structured user interfaces that look immaculate across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Create clean, responsive UI components and interactive layout patterns.
Bring a strong design perspective, driving new explorations and consistently raising the bar for our UI.
Translate user drop-off data into smart layout hypotheses, testing and validating variants using interactive prototypes.
Work together with our frontend developers to ensure that the code we ship matches your designs pixel-by-pixel.
Integrate thoughtful micro-interactions, state transitions, and UI animations to make our interface feel tactile, modern, and alive.
About You
Just like us, you love music. You're driven and entrepreneurial, but you know how to be a team player too. You’re a hands-on, detail-oriented designer who loves taking early ideas all the way to shipped solutions. You balance creative visual design with structured product thinking, and you’re collaborative, open to feedback, and comfortable working iteratively. Regardless of roles, we're always looking to work with people who can adapt to constant change, prioritise what's important, stay humble, open, curious and with a passion for details.
Requirements
3+ years of proven experience as a UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role within a commercial digital environment (SaaS, product company, startup/scale-up, or agency).
Highly skilled in visual design fundamentals, including layout, typography, color, information hierarchy, and responsive web patterns.
Experience mapping and optimizing multi-step signup, subscription, and conversion flows.
Pro user of Figma, building robust components with auto-layout, and maintaining organized, dev-ready files.
Proven track record in contributing to design systems, staying true to brand guidelines, and keeping a consistent UI.
Excellent communication skills in English, with a collaborative mindset that values constructive feedback, design critiques and a love for building together.
Bonus Skills
Experience with growth mechanics, conversion rate optimization (CRO) and data-informed design
Experience conducting user testing or basic user research
Experience working with experiments or A/B testing
Experience in incorporating AI-enabled tools to enhance and streamline your workflow.

Our day-to-day is remote-friendly, but our hub is in Stockholm. The Growth team loves collaborating in person, so while you don't need to be in the office every day, being open to going to the office for design sessions, brainstorming, hack-days, and team hangouts is a huge plus.
At Soundtrack, we believe that diversity fuels creativity and innovation. We're committed to building a team that reflects a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. We welcome applications from individuals of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, and identities.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we identify a suitable candidate before the application deadline. To ensure consideration, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Since this is a highly visual role, a portfolio showcasing your UI craft is required for your application to be considered. We can't wait to see your best work!
