Growth Marketing Manager – Lifecycle
What does your next step sound like?
About us
Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Joe & the Juice, Toni & Guy and TAG Heuer. On the inside, we're a bunch of talented, motivated and humble designers, engineers and music experts. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
As our Growth Marketing Manager, Lifecycle, you’ll turn our customer communications into a growth engine. We’re looking for a strategic idea generator, someone who can analyze the journey, spot opportunities, and turn those insights into executed, refined campaigns.
You are a hands-on problem solver with a "good eye" for content and a curiosity for how new technology can supercharge the area. While you’ve likely worked with CRM tools before, we care more about your ability to think in systems and learn new platforms.
You’ll drive tangible business outcomes across the funnel and act as a central point for teams that communicate with our customers (Sales, Product, and Customer Success). High-priority projects will include:
Redefining our comms during our Welcome and Onboarding experience.
Building smart re-engagement and win-back messaging.
Sales-assisted introductions.
You’ll be the first in this role at Soundtrack, meaning you’ll be handling everything from strategy and copywriting to campaign setup. However, you’ll work within a world-class Growth and Marketing team of developers, designers, and analysts, so expert support is always within reach. Our lifecycle efforts are in a "startup" phase; you should be comfortable wearing different hats to move fast.
Responsibilities
Drive growth: Impact key business metrics by solving customer friction points through communication.
Coordinate: Act as the central lead for customer communication strategy across the company.
Execute & Iterate: Write, deploy, learn and A/B test.
Lead with product: Implement automated onboarding flows that guide trial users to "a-ha!" moments and falling in love with Soundtrack.
Collaborate: Partner with Analytics and Insights teams to track performance (activation, conversion, retention) and turn data into better campaigns.
Innovate: Continuously evaluate our stack and workflows.
About You
Just like us, you love music. You're driven and entrepreneurial, but you know how to be a team player too. Regardless of roles, we're always looking to work with people who can adapt to constant change, prioritise what's important, stay humble, open, curious and with a passion for details.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Growth or Lifecycle Marketing roles.
Track record: You’ve used communication as a primary tool to drive measurable improvements across a customer journey.
Insights-driven: Proficient in using everything from user research to A/B test results to inform your next move.
"Good Eye": You have high standards for creative and content. You know what looks good and what drives action.
Fluent English & writing skills: You draft clear, persuasive and "human" copy. You don’t need to be a professional copywriter, but you know how to write messages that people actually engage with and want to read.
Technical skillset: Experience with CRM/Automation tools (like Intercom, HubSpot, Braze, Customer.io) is a strong plus, but we’re looking for a profile with a general ability to learn new systems and adapt new technology quickly.
AI acumen: You’re already using AI to work smarter and faster.
