The Role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Revenue Engineering team.

The team is responsible for our core backend, subscription management and integrations to business support systems. You’ll work on a wide range of projects — from distributed systems and data pipelines to integrations with finance and CRM systems — in close collaboration with web developers, designers and business stakeholders.

A key part of this role involves owning the domain around our business systems (specifically integrating with our ERP, NetSuite). Note: We are looking for a software engineer to build robust Go services around these systems, not an ERP administrator.

Responsibilities

• Architect for Reliability: Design and build backend services in Go that handle critical financial data. Accuracy and reliability are paramount here.

• Solve Integration Challenges: Build complex, distributed integrations between our core product and our financial infrastructure (NetSuite, CRM, Payment Gateways).

• Modernize & Scale: Improve, evolve, and migrate existing services to ensure our stack remains performant and cost-efficient.

• Collaborate: Work closely with Finance, Ops, and other Engineering teams to translate complex business logic into clean, maintainable code

Requirements

• Solid experience working with Go in production environments

• Experience designing, maintaining and operating backend services and integrations
  

Beneficial Requirements

• Experience working with ERP or other business-critical systems (NetSuite is a strong plus)

• Understanding of financial transactions, data flows and integrations

• Experience collaborating with finance, operations or RevOps teams

• Experience with GraphQL, REST, Scala, BigQuery, Python or Ruby

• Interest in financial systems, billing or subscription management
