UX Writer
What does your next step sound like?
About us
Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Joe & the Juice, Toni & Guy and TAG Heuer. On the inside, we're a bunch of talented, motivated and humble designers, engineers and music experts. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
We're looking for a UX Writer for the Product Experience (PX) team at Soundtrack. As a UX Writer, you’ll be responsible for the language inside our product – from what appears on buttons and error messages to the small guiding texts that help users navigate different flows. You're a key part of shaping our product language and ensuring clarity, consistency, and a smooth user experience across all touchpoints.
In this role you’ll set the foundation for our product copy across all platforms – building a glossary, tone of voice, and style guide – while also driving microcopy in the product’s flows. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and developers, making sure copy is considered early in the design process and supports both conversion and usability.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain glossary, tone of voice and style guide for product copy
- Improve existing product copy across web and app, and ensure consistency
- Write clear and concise microcopy for buttons, messages, tooltips and flows
- Collaborate in Figma and product prototypes together with designers and developers
- Ensure copy works across languages and is easy to translate
- Support testing and data-driven improvements of product copy
About You
Just like us, you love music. You're collaborative and open, and you know how to balance working independently with being a strong team player. In this role, you’ll need to be confident in driving processes, bringing others along, and not afraid to present and stand by your ideas. We value people who are clear in their communication, humble in their approach, and curious to learn — while always keeping the user experience at the center.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing, content design or similar product-focused roles
- Strong portfolio with examples of impactful microcopy in digital products
- Experience working end-to-end in product development, from idea to launch
- Excellent written and verbal English (native level a strong plus)
- Familiarity with Figma and working in cross-functional teams
- Understanding of usability, accessibility and plain language principles
Beneficial Requirements
- Experience with A/B testing or user testing of product copy
- Previous experience in scale-up or fast-paced environments
- Previous experience in product design-roles
Employee Benefits
- We offer a flexible workplace with the possibility to work remotely
- Generous pension plan
- Yearly budget for health, wellness and personal development
- Laptop and mobile phone of your choice with included cellular subscription
- Regular social activities such as team events, meet ups, after works and off-sites
- Daily breakfast served at the office
